Welcome To My Practice!
Dental fear is no joke. It can be hard enough to make the time to come see us without anxiety getting in the way. While comfort is my top priority with every patient, some people just need a little bit of extra help relaxing.
I'm pleased to offer a variety of dental sedation options including Nitrous Oxide, Oral sedatives or IV sedation. Give us a call to get started today! I look forward to making your next visit a stress free experience!
Dental Anxiety is all too common. A huge percentage of adults have put off or canceled dental treatment due to fear.
Unfortunately, most dental problems only get worse with time. Delaying treatment for a mild problem today can turn it into a much bigger (and more expensive) issue before you know it.
Modern Dentistry has many options for helping people deal with these fears, which we're pleased to offer.
One effective technique is Light IV Sedation. Intravenous sedation is administered by a specialist right here in our office, so it's safe and convenient. It helps you feel extremely relaxed during your treatment, and may cause you to drift in and out of sleep.
Imagine not feeling apprehension for your visit. No more worry about discomfort. No more hesitation. Just care-free smiles!
Sedation dentistry includes a spectrum of options including:
While each of these options are different, they all have the same end effect of helping you feel more relaxed during your dental treatment.
When we meet, we'll discuss any anxieties you have, and work with you to determine the best option for your unique needs.
We work with a Dentist Anesthesiologist who visits our office as needed. He's there to give his undivided attention to your sedation, while we handle your treatment. This means you have a safe, convenient experience, and receive the same high quality care all of our patients can expect.

I absolutely love [Dr. Hain]! I switched dentists because I always felt like I was being shamed when my oral health wasn't totally up to par. She is super friendly, supportive, and helps problem solve. Definitely would recommend. Love going to visit her!- Remmy F.
Easy, painless, and effective. I couldn't be happier.- Luisa V.
Dr. Hain is so professional and makes you feel so comfortable if you are nervous. She makes sure that you are well informed of what she is doing throughout the whole procedure. I am so glad I found such a great dentist. I recommend her to anyone who asks about dental work because she has made me feel so confident in her work . Never switching to another dentist again!- Jennifer R.
I met with Dr. HAIN and her assistiant Jamie for a consultatiom regarding my lack of satisfaction with the dentures I currently have, since first received May 2017, from my previous DDS. I found Dr.Hain's services to be more than satisfactory. She was thoughtful and attentive to details . I left there feeling quite confident that she had complete knowledge of, and highly developed technical skills appropriate to improve my current discomforts & frustrations .- Linda L.
My teeth are in pretty rough shape, and most of my past experiences with dentists have left me feeling ashamed, hopeless, and afraid. My first appointment with Dr. Hain was the one I fear the most, because of the impending judgement that typically occurs, but this experience was so lovely and comforting and educational! I never once felt bad about my situation, and I felt seen and understood and as if I would be well taken care of. And I have been!- Tiffany S.
During your visit, we'll go over any treatments in detail and make sure you have all the information you need to make a decision. Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions about sedation dentistry as a starting point for our face to face conversation.
We're pleased to offer 3 types of sedation dentistry that cover a spectrum of patient needs:
Dental anxiety can keep people from receiving the treatment they need before it becomes an even bigger problem. Sedation dentistry can help ensure you don't put things off longer than you should.
Another great benefit of sedation dentistry is that it can help reduce the number of visits required for some treatment. If your anxiety causes you to need frequent breaks, sedation can help speed things along.
This depends on the type of sedation used. Nitrous oxide wears off in a matter of minutes with no lingering effects. Oral and IV sedatives can last longer in your system, and a good rule of thumb is to take 24 hours before driving or using heavy machinery.
There are risks associated with all anesthesia use, but dental sedation is quite safe when administered by a trained dentist. We work exclusively with a professional Dentist Anesthesiologist who devotes 100% of his attention to the sedation while we take care of the dentistry.
There are certain health factors that elevate the risks associated with dental sedation. We'll make sure you're a good fit for sedation when we meet to discuss options.
This depends on the sedation type in use. Oral sedatives are prescribed for you at no cost from us, while Nitrous Oxide and IV Sedation are billed depending on time in use (with Nitrous Oxide being cheaper than IV sedation). During our consultation we'll provide you with detailed cost information for your specific procedure and needs.
